August, a start-up based in San Francisco focused on building elegantly designed smart home access products and services, will visit the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.
In honor of the occasion, August Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jason Johnson and Bruce Aust, President, Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, will ring the Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell remotely from the Center in San Francisco's South Financial district.
- August is also announcing a hardware and services donation to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco and joining August for the ceremony will be Ashley McCumber, CEO and Executive Director and Bill Lee, CFO of Meals On Wheels of San Francisco
- Meals On Wheels of San Francisco serves nutritious meals every day to 2,400 clients in the city of San Francisco.
- August's donation to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco will comprise of August's core hardware products: the August Smart Lock, the August Smart Keypad and Doorbell Cam as well as the August app for iOS and Android.
- In addition, August will donate its company's time and expertise to help initiate a pilot program with Meals On Wheels in 2016 to help drivers securely and safely enter clients’ homes to deliver nutritious meals.
