“American Horror Story” Season 8 is coming but details with regards to the specifics about the show’s plot are still scarce. There have been a few concrete developments, however, including the fact that Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Kyle Allen will be part of the new cast. There has been no word on which characters they will play in the show, however.
This tidbit apparently comes via a photo that showed chairs in the set of the shooting of “American Horror Story” Season 8, where the names of both Bowyer-Chapman and Allen were seen. As Deadline notes, the details with regards to the specifics of their roles were closely guarded. However, it seems the pair will be guest stars on the show rather than permanent characters.
Bowyer-Chapman is tied to "UnReal" while Allen is part of the cast of "The Path." Both actors are relatively unknown, but that could change depending on how well this latest season goes for the show.
On the matter of the story that comes with this new season, it will apparently be set in the future. It will also reportedly be a crossover between "Murder House" and "Coven." If so, “American Horror Story” Season 8 is going to be quite the convoluted season. On the other hand, CarterMatt did point out that this could be the key to the show’s return to form.
Season 7 did have its good parts, but it also represented the series’s worst performance yet. With “American Horror Story” Season 8 set to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 12, more details about the show will likely be released. Among the returning cast include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates.
Fans will simply have to wait a little bit more to find out what “American Horror Story” Season 8 has in store for them and how this latest season is going to scare them witless. Since this is "AHS," it’s likely to be in quite unexpected ways.
