Salmonella infection typically results in symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps, which begin six hours to six days after infection. Most individuals recover without treatment within four to seven days. However, severe cases can occur, especially in young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems, requiring medical treatment or hospitalization.
Aldi and Hy-Vee have issued these recalls out of an abundance of caution to ensure customer safety. They sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and are committed to addressing any concerns from their customers regarding these recalls.
