Zaandam, the Netherlands, September 19, 2017 - Ahold Delhaize has repurchased 1,049,432 of Ahold Delhaize common shares in the period from September 11, 2017 up to and including September 15, 2017. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €15.15 per share for a total consideration of €15.9 million. These repurchases were made as part of the €1 billion share buyback program announced on December 7, 2016.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 43,238,716 common shares for a total consideration of €799 million.
