Abby Lee Miller is back to work and she appeared to be doing so well after undergoing a series of chemotherapy and treatments for her cancer. The former “Dance Moms” coach updated her Instagram with a photo of herself while filming on Nov. 7. As can be seen in the snap, her progress to getting healthier is evidently remarkable.
While Abby Lee Miller did not mention what she was filming that day, it seems she will be in another show related to dancing since the background of her Instagram photo shows the logo of her dance studio that also once served as the set for “Dance Moms.”
In her caption, the 52-year-old choreographer informed her fans that she is back to the daily grind and asks them to guess what she was filming. She finished her caption with a series of hashtags including #abby #abbyleemiller #abbylee #dance #tvshow and #dancemoms.
Being able to get back to work today is a big improvement for Abby Lee Miller since it is cancer that she is dealing with. According to Entertainment Tonight, the TV reality star’s recent photo was taken just three months since completing her fifth round of chemotherapy.
In April, Abby Lee Miller was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma and has been on chemo since then. The discovery of her illness was accidental and doctors found it after she underwent an emergency spinal surgery. They initially thought that it was just an infection in the spine but it turned out to be more than that.
Two months after her diagnosis, Abby Lee Miller was confined to a wheelchair and she may have to learn how to walk again. But now, although she is still unable to walk, she is obviously on the way to full recovery and she looks happier.
Meanwhile, Abby Lee Miller is not just dealing with health issues but she has legal troubles as well for fraud charges. She was released from jail in March and continued to finish her time in a halfway house.
