Bitcoin expert Andreas Antonopoulos to keynote at Blockchain Africa Conference 2017

Blockchain Africa Conference that will be held in Johannesburg on 1-3 March 2017, has announced technologist and serial entrepreneur, Andreas M Antonopoulos as its keynote speaker.

The conference announced earlier in December 2016 that SAP, a market leader in enterprise application software, will be on board as an official sponsor for the event.

The conference’s speakers are experts from the digital currency and the blockchain industry and range from countries such as the UK, the US, Kenya, and Brazil. Andreas M Antonopoulos is a security and distributed systems expert, bitcoin expert, coder as well as an author. He is the author of two books namely ‘Mastering Bitcoin’ that was published by O’Reilly Media and considered the best technical guide to bitcoin, and ‘The Internet of Money’, a book about why bitcoin matters.

“As a bitcoin entrepreneur, Andreas has founded a number of bitcoin businesses and launched several community open-source projects. He is a widely published author of articles and blog posts on bitcoin, is a permanent host on the popular ‘Let’s Talk Bitcoin Podcast’, and a frequent speaker at technology and security conferences worldwide,” the conference website stated.

Andreas provides strategic consulting to few cryptocurrency companies that are aligned with his interests. Apart from this, he offers expert witness testimony in the security, technical details as well as the use of cryptocurrencies, worldwide.
