SAN DIEGO, Oct. 13, 2017 -- Ziyen Inc., a Scottish-American software and energy company, announces the addition of Sam Miller to the Business Development Team.
In this role, Miller will liaise with and engage in our social media and marketing campaigns, drive messaging and updates to shareholders and potential investors and help drive overall company promotion.
“We are very proud to welcome Sam to our staff at Ziyen Inc.,” said Alastair Caithness, CEO of Ziyen.
“Despite a downward trend in unemployment across the USA, veterans are still finding it difficult to find meaningful employment. This is especially relevant in the 18-24 year old bracket with over 21% of young veterans out of work. With the energy and enthusiasm he has already exhibited, we feel confident that Sam will help fill a crucial role in the company, bridging communication and working to promote the brand.”
Miller comes to Ziyen Inc. following 4 years of service in United States Marine Corps. from 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion.
Shane Fraser, Director of Oil Intelligence, stated,
“At Ziyen Inc. we believe young Sam Miller has a great future with the company. Even though his role will initially be Business Development and Social Media Marketing, I will be taking Sam under my wing and bringing him onsite to work on our oil lease in Indiana.
"Veterans are valuable workers for oil-and-gas companies because they have transferable technical skills. They are no strangers to working long hours at remote locations, such as drill sites, or being away from their families for weeks at a time.
"The traits that the military imparts on the men and women of the service— loyalty, courage, safety, commitment, leadership, teamwork — are all valued by us here at Ziyen.”
