Nasdaq-traded Zhibao Technology has suggested a non-binding PIPE funding that will give the firm new shares in return for around 3,500 bitcoin. Rather than conventional cash, the purchase employs BTC as direct remuneration, with the transaction still subject to ultimate valuation, custody arrangements, audits, governmental approvals, Nasdaq compliance, and definitive contracts.
If finished, the capital would turn Zhibao into a public firm with a bitcoin-treasury-style structure, which would enable the investor to possibly have majority board representation at close. The news of the unusual capital increase has already sparked a strong market response, and Zhibao's shares are soaring.
Though success depends on overcoming several legal and operational obstacles before any binding commitment can be made, the plan highlights growing corporate interest in holding bitcoin on balance sheets.
