The war between the hosts and Delos left many parks destroyed by the end of season 2. However, the entirety of Delos Inc. has not yet crumbled, so it is very possible for “Westworld” season 3 to introduce new parks.
As usual, HBO is very secretive about the plot of upcoming series installments especially when it is as big as “Westworld” season 3. However, online leaks have also been a rich source of possible spoilers and through this fans might finally have an idea what the new Delos parks would look like.
Reddit user u/Lukedriftwood recently shared that software company MarkMonitor has registered a domain called discoverwarworld.com last April. MarkMonitor is also the company that manages other “Westworld”-related websites referring to the parks introduced in the series such as disoverwestworld.com and discovershogunworld.com. It is then very possible that the new park in “Westworld” season 3 would be called the War World.
The websites pertaining to the Westworld and Shogun World used to be active and appear to be real to accommodate would-be “visitors” of the parks. So the registration of a separate domain for a certain War World could be the clue that fans are looking for. However, Inverse also offers the possibility that it was a red herring to mislead fans while the producers maintain the secrecy of the actual park to be opened in “Westworld” season 3.
However, Daily Mail reported in May that the cast of “Westworld” season 3 was spotted filming in the town of Besalú in Catalonia, Spain. An eyewitness shared several photos showing Thandie Newton and Rodrigo Santoro walking on set wearing clothes appropriate for the World War 2 era while Simon Quarterman dons a uniform of the Nazi Party’s armed wing. A video also shows that producers and directors were present along with several extras posing as Nazi soldiers.
Put these photos and the Reddit leak together, it seems like “Westworld” season 3 will have a Nazi-filled Delos park. Speaking of filming, it was also recently confirmed that the show would shoot some scenes in Singapore where the “real world” will be likely situated. HBO confirmed “Westworld” season 3 would premiere in 2020.
