“Westworld” Season 3 won’t be coming out anytime soon so fans have turned to the one thing that keeps them sated: speculating. And since the world of the sci-fi series is remarkably flesh out with plot and characters full of questions and mystery, it’s the perfect show to produce a lot of possible narratives.
The finale of the previous season saw one of the most significant progress of the story so far as Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood/Tessa Thompson) has now managed to escape the park. Not only that but she’s already killed Hale (Tessa Thompson) and has taken over her identity thanks to her new body that resembles the Delos’ executive director. In “Westworld” Season 3, Dolores will be looking to help more hosts escape the park and have them live out their lives in the real world.
Now, there are various possibilities as to where the show is headed and one of the most popular fan theories out there is that the third installment will feature more parks. And with Dolores carrying more pearls with her, they may be looking to expand their numbers in “Westworld” Season 3 by freeing more of them in the future.
This brings into question the location as to where HBO will be shooting the series’ third installment. Currently, the production of “Westworld” Season 3 has yet to begin as the studio is still trying to restore the Paramount Ranch set where the sci-fi drama is being filmed. The ranch is among those that have been torched by the Woolsey Fire that ravaged the state of California.
As such, HBO hasn’t announced any new location where “Westworld” Season 3 will take place. “It is too early to comment on any potential locations for Season 3, and it would be incorrect to infer that the production schedule and/or debut of Season 3 has been affected by the ongoing tragedy,” HBO said.
