Wendy Williams reportedly suffered from a stroke while on-air with her show. The incident was observed after her odd behavior while on the set. What they saw was the host slurring her speech and she couldn’t pronounce some simple words.

Based on the report, a medical expert commented that Wendy Williams just had a stroke and if she will not be treated, it could result in a more severe condition like paralysis and even death. The 56-year-old TV personality experienced the said medical emergency not long ago.

Emergency on the set of Wendy’s show?

In an article published by Globe titled “Wendy’s terrifying on-air train wreck,” it was claimed that on the Oct. 23 episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” the viewers were shocked as she had a meltdown. What caught the most attention was her mispronounced words like “Adele” which she pronounced as “Ho-dele” and she said “sock” as “saw.”

Wendy was also zoning out while interviewing Adele live on her program. As per the tabloid, medical experts who saw her stated that she appears to be suffering from TIA or Transient Ischemic Attack.

This condition is a type of stroke that is mild but if left untreated, it can result in a full-blown stroke and her brain will stop working. Some of her body parts will also be paralyzed and eventually, patients could die.

“When she walked on stage, she was zigzagging. She couldn’t pronounce the word ‘jealous’ and seemed confused,” the source supposedly told the Globe. “She couldn’t say Adele’s name properly and even one-syllable words were difficult for her.”

What’s more, Wendy Williams’ eyes seem blank and she couldn’t focus. It was so bad that the staff had to step in as she couldn’t remember what she was talking about.

“She also burped as though she couldn’t control her bodily functions,” the tipster added. Dr. Stuart Fischer, a New York internist who hasn’t treated Wendy, allegedly said that her symptoms really point to TIA. He warned that she badly needed to get an MRI, CAT scan and cerebral angiogram.

“It’s a big deal,” he said. “If someone blanks out, they might be having a seizure which can last for around 20 minutes.

The truth about Wendy’s health condition

Gossip Cop declared that this is a false report because in the first place if Wendy Williams really had a stroke while on-air, the incident would have been reported right away by reliable sources. Globe’s report came out more than two weeks after it supposedly happened.

Furthermore, if something like that took place, Wendy Williams would have said something about it to the viewers when she returned to the show the following week. It is clear, that she did not have a stroke and
