(“Voip-Pal,” the “Company”) (OTCQB:VPLM) is pleased to announce its Producing Routing Messages for Voice Over IP Communications (RBR) patent has been granted in India by the Indian Patent Office. The grant of the patent was recorded in the Register of Patents on September 15, 2017, and assigned Patent No. 287412. India is the second most populous country in the world behind only China, and ranks number two in the world in total mobile phones with 1,186,790,005. That is three times as many as the 3rd ranked United States which has a total of 377,577,529 mobile phones.
Voip-Pal CEO Emil Malak stated, “We are extremely pleased to have received this very important patent after a nearly seven-year long process. India is a thriving democracy and the second fastest-growing large economy in the world. Monetizing our RBR patent in India is a top priority.”
