The synopsis for episode 9 posted on TV Guide reads, “The time-traveling trio are on the run with the Barrow gang, and they must uncover Flynn's (Goran Visnjic) target in the Depression-era South by gaining the trust of criminal duo Bonnie and Clyde. Meanwhile, Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) pursues a lead in the present day, and the trio risk getting caught in the crossfire.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jacqueline Byers and Sam Strike are set to guest star as the ill-fated and notorious criminal tag team Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow, respectively. Byers is known for her work on the series ‘The Strain’ and ‘Roadies’ while Strike is best known for his portrayal of Johnny Carter on BBC’s ‘EastEnders.’
