‘The Originals’ season 4’s episode 3, titled “Haunter of Ruins,” will feature Klaus Mikaelson attempting to bond with his daughter Hope after they are reunited. The two spent five entire years apart. Meanwhile, Elijah will struggle to pacify Hayley and Freya, who are in conflict with one another.
The synopsis for “Haunter of Ruins” posted on TV Guide reads, “Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to reconnect with his daughter, Hope (Summer Fontana), after five years apart. Meanwhile, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) mediates a conflict between Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel);
and Vincent (Yufus Gatewood) tells Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) terrible secrets about his ex -wife, when they search for a witch who plans to sacrifice a group of innocent children, including Hope Mikaelson.”
The upcoming episode will feature Klaus as he tries to bond with his daughter Hope. Hope is considered the first werewolf-witch-vampire hybrid and was born to Hayley in season 4 of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’
Despite their reconnection, the rest of the Mikaelson family remains in chaos. According to Christian Today, Elijah will serve as a mediator between Hayley and Freya as he determines how to keep the family safe.
Meanwhile, Vincent will reveal some secrets about his ex-wife, Eva Sinclair (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), to Marcel as they begin the hunt for a mysterious witch, who plans to sacrifice innocent children including Klaus and Hayley’s hybrid daughter Hope.
In the promo, Klaus insists that he wants a day of peace with his daughter. Meanwhile, the search for New Orleans’ missing children continues.
Marcel is then seen asking, “How does one missing boy mean the whole city is in danger?" Vincent responds, "Whoever's doing this, they are gonna want more.” By the end of the promo, he vows that he will not let anyone or anything harm his child.
It will be interesting to see the dark side of Klaus emerge as he fights to protect Hope from danger.
‘The Originals’ season 4’s episode 3, titled “Haunter of Ruins,” is scheduled to air on The CW on March 31, 2017. It was directed by Jeffrey Hunt and written by Carina Adly Mackenzie and Declan de Barra. It will be followed by episode 4, titled “Keepers of the House," scheduled to be released on April 7 and directed by Joseph Morgan.
