The First of Its Kind Multi-Asset Brokerage is Formed

TRADE.com, the well-known CFD firm, has rebuilt the entire concept of a brokerage firm from the ground up. The Cyprus based firm has recently relaunched its already successful offering to now also include a full range of desirable investment products.

Classically a brokerage firm was a go-between connecting the investor to a third party willing to take the other side of a trade. The broker was typically the middle man, passing on the deal. A stock broker would actually execute the trade on behalf of his clients.

TRADE.com though has rewritten the script of what makes a brokerage firm, with their new full service multi-asset product offering. The company which falls under the umbrella of several regulated firms, authorised in the UK, Cyprus and in South Africa, has made available some forward-thinking products all accessible through the website.

The advantages of no middle-man

TRADE.com has removed the layer of intermediation or the middle man, by working directly with their clients. This has many advantages, not least that they can control the quality of products being offered. In addition to the quality of products, TRADE.com will directly be responsible for on boarding, which becomes a smooth and efficient process. Plus, the costs generally associated with investing are greatly lowered when the brokerage firm is the only contracting party working with the clients. The cost savings can then be passed on to the clients.

What’s new?

TRADE.com are offering a really unique selection of products from different asset classes, which have been carefully handpicked to offer a good mix of growth, fixed interest and defensive instruments for small and medium investors. These can be suitable for a wide range of investor classes, covering the gamut of financial objectives. What is so unique about these products is that you will not find them all on offer together anywhere else and certainly not available to the retail investor. It’s what makes this firm a true one-stop investment solution.

The products

CFD

The company is best known for its CFD offering. It has been offering CFD trading since 2014 through its own proprietary platform as well as through the MetaTrader4 by MetaQuotes. The proprietary platform is web- based and it comes with some amazing features like advanced charting, technical and fundamental analysis, price alerts, traders trends (which allow you to see how other traders are trading on each asset pair) and traders insight (which gives you access to see full statistics on various markets including depth and volume and also your own personal trading statistics. The broker offers traders the chance to go long or short on over 2100 assets through CFDs which include commodities, currency pairs, indices, stocks and ETFs. Spreads start at just 0.4 pips on the gold at time of writing.

DMA

This is Direct Market Access and comes from a unique joint venture between TRADE.com and Interactive Brokers. With DMA you can invest in hundreds of thousands of global securities through the trading platform at a low cost. Asset types include Options, FOPs, Futures and ETFs.

Spread Betting

Much like CFD trading, Spread Betting is the variation for UK and Irish traders. It brings advantages of tax free gains. With Spread Betting traders can trade on both rising and falling markets and they can open and exit trades when they wish.

Thematic Portfolios

A fascinating product, and one which you will likely start seeing everywhere over time, Thematics allow investors to invest in themes or trends rather than in individual stocks. An example here taken from the TRADE.com website is Cybersecurity and AI. If you decide to invest in this portfolio you will have access to a basket of shares and ETFs from this industry. Rather than speculating, you will actually own the underlying stock and can receive dividend payouts where relevant. This type of investing allows you to invest in both your beliefs and ethics and so brings a further level of satisfaction.

IPO

Another unusual product to be offered to the retail investor, this gives you the rare opportunity to invest in late stage start-ups before they go public and are listed on the stock exchange. Many of the names you will see with this product are names that you will have heard of such as Airbnb and Uber.

Asset Management

This product is made available through partnership with Donau Capital and gives you access to model portfolios which serve a variety of investor types.

If you are a curious investor that would like to take charge of your own investments with a friendly and capable firm that is always available to speak to (24/5) then you should get in touch with TRADE.com to find out more.
