“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 22 is already the final episode and as the season comes to a close, Rick and Marty Lagina will end the show with a shocking discovery reveal. It was said that this is a special episode that will be aired for two hours since the preview of "The Curse of Civil War Gold" will immediately follow.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 22 is called “Lost and Founding” and it will be the last narrative before the winter time. As posted on MSN, the plot summary of this episode reads:

“The team is handed a shocking new theory that may connect the Oak Island treasure to the birth of a nation and the guys are faced with deciding whether to quit or continue.”

This will follow last episode’s “Seismic Matters” where the results of the wood testing revealed impressive results. The wood from the wooden “U” and “L” structures they found in Smith’s Cove appeared to have been built before the Money Pit was made. Dr. Colin Laroque, a dendrochronologist at the University of Saskatchewan, reported that one sample taken in the “L” structure was from 1771 and the rest of the pieces taken from the “U” shaped were dated from 1769.

In “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 22, it is expected that more shocking information is going to be revealed and mentioned in the synopsis, it will be something that may rewrite history since Rick and Marty Lagina’s exploration may lead to more than just the fabled treasures - the history of the nation.

There will be a special guest in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 22, and he is Chris Donah. He is the researcher the crew encountered in “Seismic Matters” episode and the one who seems to have knowledge on the triangle-shaped swamp in the island.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 22 will air on April 30 after a week of delay. It will be on the broadcast at 9 p.m. on History Channel. Check out the short preview of the finale below:
