“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 19 is coming and it is called “Striking Distance.” It will still focus on the diggings around the Smith’s Cove but Rick and Marty Lagina are in a bit of rush since winter break is fast approaching.

Together with their crew, the Lagina brothers are hoping to find something great before they halt the operations for a while. In any case, the synopsis of “The Curse of Oak Island’ Season 6 Episode 19 states: “With the days getting shorter and only a few weeks remaining before the fellowship must suspend operations for the winter, the team is determined to excavate under the giant crane pad in Smith's Cove.”

Additionally, “Rick and Marty Lagina are confident they will make their greatest breakthrough yet.”

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 19 will follow after the team dismantled the crane pad they used previously. And as the excavation continues at 101 feet deep, the Laginas and their crew found a wooden structure. They found a timber too and they think this was once part of the tunnel that was built by early treasure hunters and collapsed a long time ago.

Now, as for the piece of lead that they found, Rick, Marty, Craig, and Gary met up with Tobias, a German scientist. He said that it seems to be part of a kind of art piece that is popular in the 1300s. The component of the lead was also discovered to be similar to the cross that they found before.

This new finding has brought back the theory that there is a link between the island and Knights Templar. This is likely to be discussed again in the upcoming “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 19.

‘The Curse of Oak Island’ season 6 episode 19 is set to air on April 2 at 9 p.m. on History Channel. Check out the preview to get a glimpse of what’s next in the popular treasure-hunting documentary.
