“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 6 will continue Raymond Reddington’s (James Spader) story while he is behind bars as Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Keen (Megan Boone) still betrays him since she wants to uncover the truth about the supposed impostor. Liz’s deception will go deeper as she gets closer to finding out who Red really is.
As per NBC, the synopsis for “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 6 titled “The Ethicist” reads: “When Red is sent to a federal medical institution following his request to the court for a psychiatric evaluation, Liz and Jennifer (guest star Fiona Dourif) use his time away to search for a Blacklister they believe may have valuable information about Red's past.”
For this episode, three guest stars will add spice up the story and they are Ken Leung, Becky Ann Baker and LisaGay Hamilton. And as stated in the plot for “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 6, Red will be undergoing a psychiatric evaluation after he requested this from the court.
The Wrap mentioned that Reddington made the request because his trial does not make sense to him. He said he does not get why he should stand in trial and added that he does not know what his offenses are or the wrongs he did to end up in jail.
But then again, it was said that Reddington does not really need the trip to the psychiatrist however, he asked for it because it appears that he has a plan. He will use the chance to go to Missouri and meet someone that he said he needs to see.
On the other hand, Reddington getting the opportunity to come out of his cell spells trouble for Liz and Jennifer who have been working to uncover their father’s (Red) secrets. The sisters fear that he might interfere with their plans and investigation. All their efforts may just go to waste if Red and his tricks will get in the way so they are conscious of his moves.
