The TV adaptations of DC’s characters have enjoyed a lot of appreciation from fans due to the may crossovers that they have been featuring. In “Supergirl” Season 4, viewers can expect even more occasions where the various superheroes on The CW will cross paths and cross shows. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will be meeting Batwoman (Ruby Rose), for example, on top of the “Arrow” and “The Flash” gangs.
With so many crossovers going on in the DC TV universe, it can be difficult to keep up. In late 2018, it would seem that fans of the shows will be treated to another round of epic battles with regards to the various shows. In the case of “Supergirl” Season 4, Supergirl has been rather vocal about her opinions with regards to Batman, as Melissa Benoist told Newsweek.
“Throughout the seasons, Kara’s had a few funny quips about Batman and her opinions on him – she thinks vigilantes are nuts … So I’m excited to see her meet Batwoman, and see how they interact,” the actress said.
As for the crossover that will be occurring in “Supergirl” Season 4 as well as the various other iterations throughout The CW DC programs, it seems the focus this time is more about the characters. With both the “Invasion” and the “Crisis On Earth X” being so massively epic, going bigger would have been the challenge. This is why the folks behind the shows decided to take another route.
Speaking to Digital Spy, “Arrow” star Stephen Amell talked about how he got so excited when the crossover for this time was pitched to him. He couldn’t reveal any details, but he did provide hints as to where the focus will be. This is likely where Supergirl” Season 4 will find itself in, as well.
"Because we went so big with the crossover last year, you can't go bigger, so you have to go more about the characters and the story," the actor told the publication.
