“Steven Universe” season 5 returned on Dec. 17 after taking a break since July. The cartoon series opened with “Legs from Here to Homeworld” for its 24th episode but many fans were confused because there were publications that mentioned this is already part of “Steven Universe” season 6.
As shared on Steven Universe Wikia, the new episodes that started to air earlier this week are still under “Steven Universe” season 5 thus the upcoming 25th to the next stories are clearly not premiere episodes of the sixth installment. To make it clear, Cartoon Network has yet to release the show’s season 6.
In any case, “Steven Universe” season 5 episode 25 is called “Familiar” and its summary reads: “With many changes going on in his life, Steven tries to find his place in the world.”
As mentioned, Steven will be confused as he tries to figure out the things happening in his life. This could be trying time for the little guy and his friends would surely be around him to give him support and enlightenment.
Viewers will also see what comes next after the Gem Wars ended. Steven and the Crystal Gems were able to save the world but will the corrupted Gems be healed?
“Steven Universe” season 5 episode 25 is actually delayed for quite a while and fans think that this was due to the “Steven Universe: The Movie” that was announced by Rebecca Sugar back in July via the San Diego Comic Con. However, this was not the case the show creator asserted that they have been working continuously for the TV series.
“Steven Universe” season 5 episode 25 will air on Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. on Cartoon Network and this will be followed by episode 26 called “Together Alone” on Dec. 31.
