‘Spy x Family’ chapter 26: Yor and Loid receive new missions

The upcoming “Spy x Family” chapter 26 might finally see Yor or Loid receive an exciting mission. However, such a mission won’t escape their telepathic child Anya, who’ll do her best to try to help her parents.

In “Spy x Family” chapter 25, Anya hatched a plan to impress Damian (Sy-On boy) by showing him a picture of her dog Bond. She imagined that he will be so amazed at how big Bond is and will start to converse with Anya.

In school, Anya “accidentally” dropped a picture of her family with her dog with the intention of letting Damian discover the picture. But something totally unexpected happened. Instead of Damian discovering the photo that Anya dropped, Becky saw it first and promptly fell in love with Anya’s dad Loid.

In their Arts and Crafts class, they were tasked with creating 3D models of animals. The trick is that the amount of material per table is only limited and the substitute teacher decided to assigned students to a table at random.

Damian overheard two classmates talking about some Eden big shots coming over to see what they might create. In addition, their observations will supposedly be noted down in the secret transcripts.

Anya was told to share a table with Damian. Since Becky would no longer give Anya back the picture of her family, she decided to use the project to impress Damian.

Becky was the first to finish her creation, which is a doll that resembled Loid. While the project was extraordinary, the substitute teacher said it did not meet the animal theme and told Becky to make another one. “Master Henderson, human beings are animals,” was Becky’s explanation.

Anya finished next and proudly announced her creation. “His name is Bond,” she said, referring to her dog. But Damian was unimpressed and sarcastically asked if Anya always name her garbage.

Damian, on the other hand, had more ambitious plans with his project. He wants to create a griffin, an inspiration he got from his family’s crest. Apparently, Damian desperately sought the approval of his father and was compelled to do the best in everything to make his dad proud of him.

Sensing Damian’s thoughts and worry about not having enough time and materials, Anya offered to assist him. Henderson was surprised to see the two students cooperating.

However, Anya’s work was just too weird and ugly for Damian’s taste. He stopped their collaboration and finished the griffin by himself when the wings Anya was supposed to make did not meet Damian’s standards. As a peace offering, Anya offered her own work to make up for her failure with the griffin’s wings.

Surprisingly, Damian’s work won the top spot. According to Henderson, the judges struggled to hold back their tears at the symbolism of the cruelly slaughtered baby griffin beside it, which was Anya’s clumsy creation. While Anya was pleased with the outcome, Damian vowed never to let his father see such ugly work.

‘Spy x Family’ chapter 26 predictions

Damian’s home life might be featured in the upcoming “Spy x Family” chapter 26. Previously, fans already got a glimpse that behind Damian’s seemingly perfect life, he is just a lonely boy desperately seeking the approval of his father.

Both Loid and Yor have not been given missions recently. Perhaps it is high time for either or both of them to receive a new order in “Spy x Family” chapter 26.

Naturally, such a mission might threaten to upset the fake and fragile home life that the two have forged. It will also likely involve Anya somehow as she will eventually learn of her parents’ mission due to her telepathy.
