Song Joong Ki is the lead star of “Asadal Chronicles” and tvN just dropped a series of still photos for Song Hye Kyo’s husband’s first look in his comeback drama. As can be seen in the photos, fans will see a very different Joong Ki as this is the first time that the actor is doing such kind of a role.
Song Joong Ki is a wild primitive warrior in “Asadal Chronicles” thus his manliness really shines in every scene. Moreover, despite the messy hair and unkempt look due to his character as a tribe fighter, the actor’s handsome face just become more pronounced and fans are really thrilled.
Then again, with the stills, fans and drama enthusiasts have high expectations from “Asadal Chronicles” and while this burdens Song Joong Ki a bit, he assured everyone that the drama will be high quality since they exerted so much effort in making it. In fact, it was reported that the production team worked round the clock during filming and this even created controversy due to the long labor hours.
In any case, Song Joong Ki is preparing for the release of his “Asadal Chronicles” even if he and wife Song Hye Kyo are being hounded with divorce rumors. They were said to have broken up but no exact details of why they split were mentioned.
Most of the Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo divorce reports started when the Chinese media published an article stating that the “Descendant of the Sun” stars have separated and presented photos as evidence. The images show the pair not wearing their wedding rings and the media based their allegation on this simple fact.
Apparently, there is no truth to the Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo divorce rumors. They are still together and more in love contrary to the split news.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki’s “Asadal Chronicles” is set to premiere in June. It will be tvN’s next drama and will replace “Confession” as it concludes soon.
