Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have separated after nearly two years of marriage. Since their split, the actor was not seen in public and reportedly had taken a short break.
A few weeks after taking some time off, Joong Ki reportedly went back to work as he has a schedule to shoot the very first Korean sci-fi film. The movie is a collaboration between China and Korea through Tencent Pictures.
Joong Ki spotted in a restaurant
Joong Ki was initially reported to have been spotted for the first time in public, and they said it happened in a restaurant. Photos of the actor were also spread online, and reports stated that the woman he was with in some photos had not been identified. Also, based on the news, the place where he was seen is not known.
It turned out that the dinner was held in Sariwon restaurant and Song Joong Ki was with a group of people from his new movie called “Victory.” This was clarified when English actor Richard Armitage also posted a photo of him and the Korean actor while they dine.
In his Instagram update on Aug. 28, Armitage wrote, "Song Joong-ki introduced me to 냉면 (naengmyeon), and it’s now my new favorite dish." They only have one photo and the rest of Song Hye Kyo’s ex’s images were apparently taken by the staff who were with them during the meal.
The actor’s other projects
“Victory” will also star Kim Tae Ri and Yoo Hae Jin and with its heavy cast lineup and interesting story, it is expected to be a hit. Fans are also relieved to see Joong Ki looking healthy and seems cheerful while he is out carrying his work schedules.
Song Hye Kyo’s ex will also be busy with the upcoming premiere of “Arthdal Chronicles” which is coming back for the third and last part. This will air on Sept. 7
Hye Kyo’s activities
Since her split with Joong Ki, the actress did not take a break and continued to work. She was bashed for this attitude, but this work ethic made advertisers like the actress even more. They did not cut their ties with the “DOTS” star but remained firm in having her endorse their brands despite her “divorcee” status now.
