Song Hye Kyo is said to have gone back to school following her divorce from Song Joong Ki. After their split was announced back in June, the actress continued to appear in events and did not take a break, unlike his ex-husband.
Although she was heavily criticized for appearing to be “unaffected” by the split, Hye Kyo went on to carry out her activities. She was spotted in many promotional and fashion events including the one in Monaco where she was pictured chatting with A-list Hollywood star Natalie Portman.
The divorced couple slit up amicably and moves on
Despite the controversies surrounding their divorce, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo parted ways amicably. They agreed to no alimony and no division of properties; thus, their divorce case was finalized less than a month after it was filed.
The two resumed with their respective work schedules with the actor starting to film Korea’s first-ever sci-fi movie that will also star Robert Armitage. Recently, he also wrapped up his comeback drama “Arthdal Chronicles” which ended with high ratings.
The actress’ goes back to school
On the other hand, Song Hye Kyo was said to have enrolled for an art course in New York. According to Allkpop, the actress is taking a short break from her work to study again. But it should be noted that this is just a short course as she wants to focus on her personal development by learning new things.
She is expected to enroll for a course relating to fashion since she expressed a big interest in this field. She also attended many fashion week activities prior to her registration in an art school in the U.S. Her agency, United Artists Agency, stated that Song Hye Kyo’s studies are a personal matter so they will not comment on it further.
Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki may already be divorced, but the interest in them has not died down yet. Their separation, although final already, is still one of the most talk-about topics among the fans and while many wish the two well as they start their new lives as singles, others still criticize them for the breakup as the truth about the reason for their split was never divulged.
