GILBERT, Ariz., Oct. 24, 2017 --
Who:
SMART High Reliability Solutions (“SMART HRS”), a subsidiary of SMART Global Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ:SGH), and a provider of current and next-generation solid state storage solutions specializing in ruggedized, high-performance and high-capacity solid state drives (“SSDs”) for defense, aerospace and industrial markets.
What:
Chris Budd, Director of Engineering at SMART High Reliability Solutions, will present “Using MLC Flash to Reduce System Cost in Industrial Applications.” This talk will show that even though storage devices based on Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND flash have lower endurance and data retention than devices based on standard Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND flash, MLC still provides enough endurance and retention for many rugged, industrial systems; the lower storage cost and higher density of MLC will help system designers lower their overall system cost.
Additionally, SMART HRS will showcase its newest product, the feature rich HRS-M4 MLC SSD along with the rest of its product portfolio of highly ruggedized, reliable and secure solid-state storage solutions for military and industrial applications during the ITC17 exhibition at Bally’s Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV, in booth #609 from October 24 through 26.
When:
Wednesday, October 25 at 11:00 AM
Where:
International Telemetering Conference (ITC) and Exhibition
Bally’s Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV
Bronze 3 Ball Room
Session Track 11: Networking and Recorders II
Session Number: 17-11-02
