Robert Pattinson is one of the candidates for the “Batman” role in the upcoming DC movie. After Ben Affleck confirmed his departure as the caped superhero, fans and observers made suggestions as to who is the rightful actor to take over.
Aside from Robert Pattinson, “Fifty Shades’” Jamie Dornan and “Outlander” actor Sam Heughan are also in the running. In a poll set up by JustJared, Heughan placed first with over 35,000 votes but of course, other people have a different opinion and sees Kristen Stewart’s ex-boyfriend as the most suitable to be the next “Batman."
BossLogic, a print store, seems to agree that Robert Pattinson is the right choice for the role. Via Twitter, it wrote, “A choice that I never would have thought to try but been hearing some background chatter about Robert Pattinson being looked at, if the talks (source) are true then all of our predictions were wrong. This might be your new Bruce.” It also added the hashtags #thebatman and #batman to show it is fully supporting the suggestion of having Kristen Stewart’s “Twilight” co-star as the new caped DC hero.
While it yet to see if Robert Pattinson will get the “Batman” role, Kristen Stewart is now on Netflix after her indie movie titled “Personal Shopper” is set to be released this month on the streaming site. The film showcased the actress’ acting prowess that she gain thumbs up from various movie critics.
Meanwhile, the calls for a new Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart movie have not disappeared and many fans still want them to reunite, even in films. Although they each have their own new loves now, they expressed willingness to work together again so if there is a fitting project, they could agree to do it for their followers.
