“One Piece” Episode 864 was delayed last time because a special episode of “Dragon Ball Super” had aired. Now that the anime is back on track there are rumblings that it could be a double episode to make it up to fans. If this ends up being the case, the Big Mom arc will be even closer to wrapping up. For the moment, however, fans will simply have to content themselves with seeing Nami use the yonko’s power against her.
On the matter of a potential double episode that would feature “One Piece” Episode 864 and 864, this is unfortunately not going to happen. It was already confirmed before that only one episode will be airing, so fans will have to content themselves with that. As for what they can expect from this segment, it’s basically where Big Mom finally catches up to the Straw Hats.
The gang has been successfully evading the yonko for many episodes now despite her persistence in chasing after them. Her goal is to have Nami and the rest give her the wedding cake that she was told was in their possession. Unfortunately, this is simply not true but it won’t stop Big Mom from trying to burn the Straw Hats into a crisp in “One Piece” Episode 864.
Fortunately, Luffy’s friends are no pushover and Nami is especially adept at turning a bad situation around. She does this by luring in Zeus and using his power against Big Mom. Jinbei also helps out in “One Piece” Episode 864 and they will manage to get her off the Sunny before she burns it into cinders.
Fans can finally have their itch scratched on Dec. 9 for another episode of the series when “One Piece” Episode 864 airs. The Big Mom arc is slowly coming to a close.
