“One Piece” Episode 860 will basically be a setup episode where a bunch of other developments will be primed to occur. Among these is the delivery of the wedding cake to Big Mom so that she will finally calm down and the next phase of the fight between Luffy and Katakuri. There will be some major obstacles for the former and the latter will finally see the start of a conclusion.
As OtakuKart notes, “One Piece” Episode 860 will see Oven figuring out that Chiffon had escaped him and tries to go after his sister. Bege then makes an appearance and shoots the pursuer in the face. This didn’t damage him in any significant way, but it still allowed Chiffon to get on the ship along with the wedding cake that they will deliver to Big Mom.
Unfortunately, Oven soon recovers and tries to stop Chiffon from escaping by boiling the ocean in “One Piece” Episode 860. This would have ruined the cake, thus putting Sanji’s mission in jeopardy. Fortunately, Pound steps in to help his daughter, but he does so at the cost of his life. At the same time, Bege will be delivering the cake to Big Mom on his ship despite the fact that he had just attempted to assassinate her.
This shows a side of the gangster pirate that is practically close to being self-less, though, he is doing it for his own wife. As TheAnimeScrolls reports, Luffy’s upcoming rematch with Katakuri will be highlighted a bit in “One Piece” Episode 860. It’s unlikely for that particular battle to be concluded in this episode, but it will provide a hint as to how the Straw Hats captain can defeat the Sweets Commander.
“One Piece” Episode 860 is set to come out on Nov. 4. Fans can watch the episode via official portals to support the anime industry.
