“One Piece” Episode 853 was always going to be an episode where epic fights rule the roost and the characters are going to face endless peril. This is going to be just the case, with the Straw Hat pirates caught between rocks on all sides, with the hard place bearing down on them in the form of Big Mama. Fortunately, everyone’s favorite fish man, Jinbei, swims up to save the day.

After getting delayed for a week, “One Piece” Episode 853 will finally air on Sept. 16, and fans simply cannot wait to see what happens next. As Otaku Art notes, Charlotte is bringing Big Mama over to the Straw Hats to punish them and make them suffer. This would have eventually been the case, as well, if things had gone in accordance with the trend.

However, the Straw Hats will catch a lucky break in “One Piece” Episode 853 when Jinbei appears alongside is his other fish men pirate buddies. This will then allow the members of the Straw Hat Pirates to gain enough time to actually get away. In the meantime, Luffy would be fighting Katakuri.

Speaking of that fight, “One Piece” Episode 853 is likely to showcase some of it in order to build up the tension. Although fans already know that Luffy is going to win, it’s difficult not to feel a twinge of regret and hopelessness every time the stretchy protagonist gets beat down.

At this point in the anime, Katakuri is far above Luffy in terms of capabilities and this is largely due to the antagonist’s ability to perceive the future. It’s no more than three seconds or so, but that’s more than enough to change how battles go. In any case, “One Piece” Episode 853 is likely going to show the difference between these two monsters.

Escape is going to be difficult, as well, because every mirror on the Sunny was ordered broken by Luffy, The Anime Scrolls recently reported. When "One Piece” Episode 853 finally airs, the consequences of such actions will be palpable.
