“My Hero Academia” Chapter 199 is going to be released in a few days and will likely feature the continuation of the battle between Tokoyami and Kuroiro. With both students having quirks that are related to darkness, it practically seems that they are made to fight each other. As seen in the previous chapter, it seems class 1-A’s resident dark master is in trouble, but he seems to have an ace up his sleeve.
As The Anime Scrolls recently noted, the previous chapter was not exactly the best in the manga’s history. It featured scenes of reflection among students, which is certainly important, but it did not do much to advance the story forward. Hopefully, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 199 is going to be a lot better in this regard.
With regards to what readers can likely expect, Tokoyami did say that he had a new move to show off called Black Fallen Angel. It isn’t known what this is yet, but it should enable Dark Shadow to inflict enough damage if it’s going to stand a chance against Kuroiro.
Aside from the two wielders of dark quirks, though, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 199 might also feature a head-on clash between two of the class beauties in each class, Itsuka and Momo. The two formally issued a challenge to each other before the match started, so this should prove quite exciting.
This match should prove quicker than the others as well, Otaku Art notes, because of how many other teams are still waiting. Seeing other students show off their quirks and prove that they have come far is interesting. However, fans will want the story to move forward at some point, starting with “My Hero Academia” Chapter 199. Readers will find out on Sept. 24 if it does, when it is released.
