Miranda Lambert 2018: Pistol Annies Singer Confirms She’s ‘Single & Happy’ amid Pregnancy and Wedding Rumors Involving Evan Felker

Miranda Lambert recently referred to herself in an interview as “single and happy,” confirming that she and fellow country music artist Evan Felker have broken up. This news coming from Lambert is a clear indication that prior rumors of being pregnant and getting married to Felker were inaccurate.

Lambert was interviewed by The Tennessean, where she discussed Pistol Annies’ third album. Aside from her successful solo career in country music, Lambert is part of the trio with Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe. The country music supergroup will be launching a new album this fall, which is about five years since their second album came out.

“Since our last record, we’ve had two divorces, a marriage, two babies and one on the way,” Lambert said. “Now we’ve got two husbands, one single and happy, and I just feel like we live such crazy lives. That’s a lot of life to be lived in just five years between three women, and I feel like we’re just telling the story of what all of that is and doing it very honestly.”

Following the interview, PEOPLE reported that Felker broke some rules set by Lambert that ultimately caused their split. According to a source, “I don’t think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was ‘allowed’ to do based on her rules and he broke them. He did something that he knew she wasn’t going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn’t deny it.”

The first reports about Lambert and Felker dating came out last May, implying that the musicians got close while on a concert tour. Felker’s band, Turnpike Troubadours, was the opening act on several dates of Lambert’s “Livin’ Like Hippies” tour that started in February.

Recently, several gossip reports were published claiming that she and Felker were taking their relationship to the next level. One of the articles said Lambert was rushing to marry Felker and looked forward to having a child with him. But Lambert’s confirmation of being “happily single” is all fans need to know that these reports were untrue.
