Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton 2018: The Reason Why Duchess of Sussex is Moving Out of Kensington Palace

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are scheduled to move out the Kensington Palace in early 2019, relocating to the grounds of Windsor Castle. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, it’s being rumored that the reason for the couple’s decision is that there’s tension between Markle and Kate Middleton.

But it isn’t just the two duchesses that seem to be at odds with one another, but their husbands as well, Entertainment Tonight reported. However, the magazine clarified that the friction mentioned earlier didn’t play a part on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relocation. Instead, it mainly revolved around the couple wanting more space for their growing family and the special attachment they have with Windsor Castle. And while the Duchess of Sussex might be leading differing lifestyle compared to Kate Middleton, they’ll still need to work together on the Royal Foundation.

As for where exactly is Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is going to be relocating, the palace confirms that they’ll be settling on the Frogmore Cottage. Currently, the 10-bedroom cottage is being refurbished in preparation for the royal couple and their upcoming first child. Kate Middleton and Prince William, on the other hand, will be staying at the Kensington Palace.

Even though the duchesses are being rumored to be having some sort of internal conflict, their past relationship is suggesting otherwise. Historical consultant Robert Lacey previously said that Meghan Markle developed quite the bond with Kate Middleton after becoming part of the royal family. Both duchesses have been seen attending several high-profile gatherings together and it is during these times that the two apparently formed their friendship.

This friendship is especially important for Meghan Markle as it’s been reported that she’s been spending less time with the people she previously knew. Fortunately, Doria will be a constant presence once the duchess and Prince Harry move in at Frogmore Cottage. Hopefully, the royal pair can relocate swimmingly so that Kate Middleton, Prince William, and the rest of their acquaintances can visit the couple as soon as they’re settled in.
