Maria Carey is mentoring in this season of “The Voice” and she’s allegedly causing a lot of headaches for the coaches and the staff behind the scenes, Radar Online reported. Reportedly, the “We Belong Together” singer brings a lot of toxicity to the set, resulting in unneeded drama among those involved.
“The judges can say that they welcome her with open arms, but anyone who works on the show knows that is not the case,” an unnamed source of the tabloid claims. The insider adds that the show did invite her this season to cause this sort of tension but Maria Carey has allegedly gone overboard. The source purports that the diva is flaunting her experience in the industry and how she “knows better than the coaches.”
However, since Radar Online is the one pushing this narrative, it’s safe to assume that it’s nothing more than another unfounded claim by the publication. The tabloid has a history of creating false claims in the past, ranging from Matt Damon turning his back on Ben Affleck to Tom Cruise showering Suri Cruise with gifts. Now, its most recent hit piece has been aimed at Mariah Carey and there is a lot of evidence that proves it doesn’t hold any veracity.
For instance, an outtake of “The Voice” was released this week showing the coaches and contestants having a great time with Mariah Carey. She joked, talked about mundane things, and was overall cordial to everyone throughout the clip contrary to the tabloid's claims.
The diva was even quite gentle with the hair of Sandy Redd when her ring got snagged on the singer’s hair. “I should be able to do it. I did go to beauty school,” Maria Carey said as she untangled the errant strand out her bling.
Of course, none of this was mentioned by Radar Online and was pushing the narrative that the iconic songstress is an insufferable diva. With the publication’s dubious reputation and the outtake recently uploaded, it’s safe to say that this article by the tabloid is false and should not be taken seriously.
