Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) and the rest of the team will be taking on another high-risk mission in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10. But this particular operation hits close to home as they are doing it for the sake of Matty Webber (Meredith Eaton) and her husband.
Teasers for “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10 reveal that Matty will have no choice but to disclose all the information she has about Ethan (Brendan P. Hines). Her husband, whom the team does not know about until this installment, has been away for at least eight years.
Like Matty, it turns out that Ethan is also a prolific CIA agent. In fact, Matty is obliged to keep Ethan’s information hidden because he has been on a deep undercover mission. He has been an infiltrator in a high-profile criminal organization for almost a decade. But his worst fear becomes a reality in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10.
The official synopsis says Ethan’s undercover has been compromised. And since he had been with crime organization for a solid eight years, the bad guys would want him dead for sure. Matty then turns to her team in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10 to save her husband.
Meanwhile, “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10 summary also suggests that saving Ethan will not be easy. Their mission has two components — first, they need to find him first before they can exfil him to safety.

As mentioned, Matty had always known that Ethan is alive. But she led her team to believe that she knows nothing about her husband’s whereabouts. Because of this setup, Ethan’s line of work has been a huge part of Matty’s arc for in the series. It is safe to say that her storyline is reaching its peak in “MacGyver” season 3 episode 10.
