Lee Min Ho is set to make his comeback via SBS’ upcoming drama titles “The King: The Eternal Monarch.” Fans don’t have to wait long before it arrives because it is almost here, with the confirmed air date in April.

Min Ho’s posters

As the drama and its cast are preparing for the drama’s release, photo teasers and trailers were posted on social media and fans are truly impressed. For starters, Lee Min Ho’s still photos showed him in various charismatic poses and most of his sophisticated images made him truly fitting for his role as Emperor Lee Gon of ancient Korea.

He also exudes a mysterious aura which is probably what they are trying to convey since “The King: The Eternal Monarch” is a fantasy drama about parallel worlds. Emperor Lee Gon found a portal that brings him to the present era and realized that this must be sealed off before anyone else from his world found it.

“After a long break, I am returning with ‘The King: Eternal Monarch,’” Soompi quoted Lee Min Ho as saying when asked about his comeback. “You have waited a long time, so I will come to you soon and make a good impression. It’s even more meaningful to be able to work with Kim Eun Sook again as a more mature actor and I will work hard to make this a good project, especially since it’s our second one together.”

The actor then asked his fans to look forward to his new drama. He said that it will present an exceptional love story that he is sure everyone will like.

Kim Go Eun

Lee Min Ho’s partner in the drama is “Goblin’s” Kim Go Eun and after seeing the preview clips, fans are in awe with their scenes together. It may be their first project as co-stars but many agree that they are a perfect fit for the roles. The actress serves as the co-lead star and her photo teasers showed her in two characters that she is portraying for two different worlds.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho’s “The King: the Eternal Monarch” is coming out next month. Fans should wait for the exact premiere date which we hope will not be delayed due to the current coronavirus situation.
