LG Electronics Inc. is planning to launch innovative fixtures and appliances for bathrooms. The South Korean electronics giant is set to showcase its new cutting-edge bathroom products this month.
LG Electronics is known worldwide as a maker of good home appliances, and this is the first time it has created items for bathrooms. Thus, this also marks the company's venture into this market.
Bathroom Appliance Lineup
According to The Korea Economic Daily, some high-tech items that LG Electronics will launch are shower faucets with water purification filters, smart mirrors, and air temperature and humidity control systems (Smart Airflower). LG Electronics Smart Bath and Shower Purifier can filter out rust and residual chlorine from tap water; with this, users can prevent skin irritations.
As for the temperature systems, they can maintain water temperatures at a level according to the user's preferences. It has a digital display for easy monitoring and adjustment of temperatures. Water usage is also recorded, and filter replacement alerts are also available. The consumers will see these items at the 2024 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), held from Feb. 27 to Feb. 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bath Solutions for the Modern Times
Aside from the new bathroom fixtures with advanced features, LG Electronics will also unveil a unique smart mirror that functions as a core for artificial intelligence-based services. It will offer useful content like bath tips while serving as a traditional mirror at the same time. Lastly, LG Electronics will introduce the PuriCare HydroTower, a popular item in South Korea with more than 10,000 sales volume in just 50 days.
"LG is excited to introduce KBIS 2024 visitors to an exceptional lineup of home innovations, including the bath solution, PuriCare HydroTower and system ironing," LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company's president, Lyu Jae Cheol, said in a press release. "We will continue to introduce smart life solutions across diverse categories, deeply rooted in our understanding of customer lifestyles, seeking to lead the market through thoughtful innovations for a better life."
