Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been seen hanging out more often together lately. The pair was observed to have been cordial with each other and on good terms. A few weeks afterwards, Robert Pattinson even praised Stewart's acting chops in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Kristen Stewart, who came out last year and is now dating New Zealander and Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell, is probably not interested again in Robert Pattinson right now.
While Robert Pattinson is still single with no confirmed partner since his breakup with FKA Twigs last October, one would be hard-pressed to say that he is interested in his ex, considering the circumstances that led to their breakup in the first place.
Are we seeing R. Patz and K. Stew burying the hatchet? If so, is it due to some altruistic attitude of letting bygones be bygones, or are the two in a certain circumstance that requires them to be friendly with each other?
While there have yet to be any solid announcements that the two have been cast for an upcoming film, the pair have had varied career experiences that may be intersecting once again.
Robert Pattinson first attempted to break away from the sparkling vampire mold in the David Cronenberg drama-thriller “Cosmopolis” in 2012, and most recently did so in 2018's western comedy “Damsel.”
Kristen Stewart has had no less of a vibrant career after her same attempt at leaving the shadow of the Stephanie Meyer vehicle with 2012's “Snow White and the Huntsman,” and, most recently, with more mature material such Sundance Film Festival 2018 entry “Lizzie.”
It would be interesting to see how they have developed since they entered public consciousness in the first “Twilight” movie.
While being professional with each other and burying the past are not mutually exclusive, and five years is a long time since the couple broke up, even with Kristen Stewart's dalliance while still in a relationship, it doesn't seem like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are getting back together anytime soon.
