However, since Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are also parents, this part of their life is a little complicated to explain to their children. The country singer recently said on “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” (via ET Online) radio that their kids don’t fully comprehend why tabloids are publishing these fabricated stories.
"When you have kids it changes it because that’s really hurtful to kids,” Keith Urban said on Monday. "They don’t quite understand, and they go, ‘Why are they saying that?’ and you go, ‘Because it sells. It sells magazines. It’s the only reason they’re doing it.’ That part of it is a bit rough.” It goes without saying that Nicole Kidman is likely finding it difficult to explain this part of their life as well.
As for the rest of their friends and family, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman said that people who are close to them are completely ignoring these rumors being spewed out by gossip media. The “Somebody Like You” singer added that he just laughs whenever he reads a gossip piece about them especially when the publication claims they got their info from an “inside source.”
Keith Urban even went as far as to call those who are writing these false claims “w*nkers.” The fact of the matter is that Urban and Nicole Kidman are still madly in love with each other even after all this time. The two have been married for 12 years now and their romance is still blossoming.
It can be recalled that after Nicole Kidman parted ways with Tom Cruise, the actress reportedly said that she “literally stumbled” on Keith Urban. After that fateful encounter, the couple went on a string of dates, which resulted in an engagement a few months later.
Nicole Kidman said that she knew she wanted to spend her life with Keith Urban even when they were only dating for months, describing her decision as one of her “spontaneous ways.” For his part, the country singer said that meeting and marrying the actress wasn’t life-changing, it was “life-beginning.” Today, the couple’s relationship is stronger than ever and no rumors are going to change all of that.
