Is there trouble in paradise for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom? Tabloid magazine Globe recently claimed that the "I Kissed a Girl" singer had a meltdown when she saw photos of Orlando flirting with other women on a beach in Malibu, and it was stated that felt betrayed and devastated when she learned of the “Lord of the Rings” star’s antics.
This sounds serious, but Gossip Cop says Globe’s report completely misses the mark. As noted by the fact-checking website, Orlando Bloom was actually in Los Angeles with Katy Perry on Thursday when she accepted her amFAR Award of Courage. If their relationship was on the rocks, Orlando probably wouldn’t have attended the event to support Katy.
Gossip Cop also pointed out that Orlando was just hanging out with his friends when the beach was taken. He wasn’t flirting with anyone despite what Globe reported.
“It also bears mentioning the innocuous beach pictures weren’t used to portray the Lord Of The Rings star being unfaithful to Perry anywhere else other than by the Globe. In the photos from the beach that day, the actor can be seen hanging out with a few pals and giving an innocent peck on the cheek to a female friend, who was playing in the sand with his son and even took several pictures of Bloom and Flynn having fun,” the team at Gossip Cop explained.
Well, it seems Globe is just trying to stir up some drama to get people to buy a copy of their magazine. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship seems to be fine despite the reports. In fact, People had reported that Orlando might be thinking about proposing to Katy in the near future after the couple got back together earlier this year. Of course, this rumor hasn’t been verified yet so take it with a grain of salt.
