After becoming part of the royal family in 2011, Kate Middleton has adjusted to the luxurious but rather tedious life of being a duchess. So much so that even when she gave birth to Prince Louis in April, the Duchess has since recovered her slim figure and is now looking as if she never gave birth at all.
But unlike most people, Kate Middleton didn’t hit the gym and went on a strict regimen to regain her slender form. Instead, she just maintained an active lifestyle similar to what she had been doing even before she became royalty, Daily Star reported.
The duchess even joked about being slim because she’s constantly running after her kids. And now that Kate Middleton and Prince William have three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – that may have very well been one of the reasons for her quick recovery.
But most of it is attributed to Kate Middleton’s penchant for sports. She was quite active in tennis, hockey, and skiing before she became a duchess but has then transitioned to jogging, hiking, rowing, and swimming.
Indeed, in 2015, famed Beverly Hills jeweler Martin Katz and his wife Kelly revealed to Hello Magazine how Kate Middleton and Prince William are quite the sportsmen. Kelly recalled a time when they went diving with the royal couple in 2008 and both went as deep as 90 feet. Kelly and Martin Katz’s instructor warned that they weren’t even qualified to tag along where the two went.
Kate Middleton and Prince William recently enjoyed their vacation on the island of Mustique, where the two went with their three children and Kate’s parents. Town and Country magazine reported that the royal duo was spotted blending in with the crowd on the island, enjoying much-needed rest from their duties of parenting their three little children.
And because Mustique is strictly a no-fly zone, with locals and other guests being discreet about Kate Middleton and Prince William in attendance, the two were able to truly let themselves soak in the beauty of the island. Of course, the three young royals were left at the hotel that they were staying at, likely watched over by their doting grandparents.
