This week marks the eighth wedding anniversary of Prince William and Kate Middleton. But the weeks leading to this marriage milestone have been riddled with rumors that the royal couple is facing issues of alleged cheating and divorce.

The cheating rumors started shortly after a story of The Sun came out that Middleton wanted Rose Hanbury out of their circle of friends. This particular report did not really provide any reason that caused their alleged falling out. But it also did not take long before the cheating rumors started to spread. Hanbury has since been alleged as Prince William’s third party — a claim that is yet to be supported by hard evidence available to the public.

Unfortunately for the royal couple, the speculations did not stop there. The cheating rumors later led to allegations that they have since been seeking legal advice for a looming divorce. Just recently, a tabloid magazine released an issue with Prince William and Middleton’s purported “trial separation” in the cover.

With reports from Gossip Cop, the said tabloid claimed from a source that Middleton has already decided to leave Prince William by moving out of their royal residence with their three kids. However, it is important to note that the royal couple attended the Easter Sunday service together and stood side by side to greet Queen Elizabeth II at the said event.

Meanwhile, sources of reputable publications like Harper’s Bazaar reported that Prince William and Middleton also Meghan Markle together at the Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Prince Harry’s wife is expected to give birth anytime soon to their first baby. “William and Catherine visited because Meghan was unable to attend the service,” the insider said. “They wanted to be supportive and see how she is doing. It was a lovely afternoon.”

Reports that Prince William and Middleton have plans to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary is also indicative of the absence of divorce or trial separation. On April 29, 2011, more than 134 million people around the world watched Prince William and Middleton walk down the aisle — 72 million via YouTube live stream, over 26 million and 36 million via TV broadcast in the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively. The two were later officially called the Duke and Duchess and Cambridge.
