Jungkook, the youngest in the world-famous boy band BTS, just exhibited a new skill, and fans are going crazy - again! His name exploded again on social media after he revealed his gaming know-how this week.
On Oct. 30, Jungkook uploaded a clip of how he plays the popular game “Overwatch,” and it has been liked by more than a million fans and retweeted for over 320,000 times. Fans also left comments, and as usual, they expressed admiration for his seemingly good playing talent.
The professional gamers’ review
While Jungkook’s fans are expected these kinds of positive reactions for their favorite idol singer, it turned out that even professional gamers approved the BTS member’s skills. He is indeed a good player that the pros were really surprised.
For instance, David Pei, the head coach of Gladiators, a professional “Overwatch” team, praised Jungkook after seeing how he played. On Twitter, Pei wrote, “He's kinda insane actually.” this comment just verified that the BTS golden maknae is indeed talented in the game even in the eyes of the pro-gamers.
Cloud9, the American e-sports organization, also agreed that Jungkook got some serious “Overwatch” playing skills. He simply wrote “nice” in the comment’s section under JK’s post, and it is enough to show that they are also acknowledging the Kpop artist’s talent.
Will Jungkook get a deal for e-sports?
Now, Jungkook is known to have the power to sell anything, and with his latest display of video gaming, there are predictions that it is possible that gaming companies and will approach him for partnership. Perhaps, they will also invite him for a demo match, and fans from both worlds (Kpop and gaming) will surely not be able to handle it.
In any case, Jungkook will probably have less time for playing “Overwatch” since BTS may be preparing for their new album. They just concluded their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour last weekend, so they are expected to be back in the recording studio. Collaborations with foreign artists are also in the cards as many have expressed their interest in sharing the stage with the most popular boy band in the world today.
