After three consecutive weeks of action-packed manga installments, the main story is taking a well-deserved break. However, series creator Gege Akutami is not leaving fans without any content to read before the release of “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ chapter 133 release date: Main story takes a break
Manga readers should not be confused when they visit the “Jujutsu Kaisen” pages on Viz Media and Manga Plus websites and see that a new chapter will be released on Sunday, Dec. 13. This is not meant for “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 as the main story will be on a break in the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. However, just like the break Akutami had last month, fans will be treated to a pun-filled filler chapter featuring all the main characters, namely Yuji, Gojo, Megumi, and Nobara.
The filler, which will officially “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 132.1, will feature Tokyo Jujutsu High’s first-year students with their teacher in various scenes not related to the main story. A reliable source of manga leaks shared a panel where Yuji is playing basketball. The scene is reportedly a nod to “Kuroko’s Basketball” where Nobara talks about the importance of screening, but Yuji just goes straight for a slam dunk.
In another leaked “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 132.1 page, Yuji’s eyes are covered for a blind taste test. He is supposed to be eating cake, but Gojo pulls a prank on him and feeds him Sukuna’s finger.
While the break is happening after a major cliffhanger, the spoilers suggest that the filler chapter is still worth reading. It is also a good chance for manga readers to see Nobara, Megumi, and Gojo in the state they were in before Mahito wreaked havoc. “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 is expected to be released on Sunday, Dec. 20, along with the last WSJ issue for 2020.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ chapter 133 plot predictions: Will Geto save Mahito?
“Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 will pick up from Yuji’s successful attack on Mahito that made the cursed spirit unable to fight back. However, the villains’ defeat is not guaranteed yet as the special grade sorcerer Geto appeared just before Yuji kills Mahito.
It is still unknown, though, what Geto plans on doing next. As for Mahito, the only choices are to either kill him or save him and add him to his cursed spirit collection. Yuji might be in bigger trouble than Mahito in “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133, as Geto is in a perfect condition to fight.
