“Jessica Jones” season 3 may be coming sooner than what most fans think. Netflix seems to have hinted that it will bring the Marvel show back earlier and it will be as soon as this summer.
According to CBR, the predicted release date of “Jessica Jones” season 3 was based on the recently released Q1 2019 Fiscal Year Earnings Call of the Disney Company. During the live webcast call, the news outlet noted that the spokesperson said that the third season of “Jessica Jones” has been projected to be Disney’s source of income for the third quarter of 2019.
This simple statement only means that “Jessica Jones” season 3 will be streamed on Netflix starting April. Or, it could also premiere in either May or June but will definitely not reach the Q4 2019.
Meanwhile, “Jessica Jones” season 3 was confirmed last year by Netflix and ordered an additional 10 episodes for the upcoming installment. It will continue where season 2 concluded – at the same point that showed the intensifying tension between Jessica and Trish Walker.
The plot will get more interesting as it seems that Trish will also gain superpowers to fight off the Jessica in “Jessica Jones” season 3. Perhaps, Trish has been designated as the new villain?
“Jessica Jones” season 3 will bring back Krysten Ritter as the main lead and Rachael Taylor as Trish. The other returning cast includes Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville), and Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss).
“Jessica Jones,” tells the life story of a mysterious woman whose superhero career was short-lived as a result of a tragedy. She moved to New York and started her detective agency. Alias Investigations mostly deals with people with special abilities so she has been meeting people just like her. However, her dream is not to save the world but to be able to have steady work to keep her apartment. In short, she is not interested in superhero activities which is her destiny.
