The Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez relationship has been going well for a while now but it would seem that gossip publications are taking this to mean that the two are already engaged. What’s more, tabloids are claiming that the couple is trying to keep this particular development in favor of doing a trial run. Is J-Lo really a trial wife now?
As far as Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez gossips go, the one from the National Enquirer can be considered one of the more tasteless. Basically, the publication cited a source who apparently claims that the couple has gotten engaged without telling anyone. What’s more, the report’s choice of words seems a little off by essentially saying that the singer had “agreed” to become a wife. As Gossip Cop points out, however, this story is just not true.
According to the supposed source of this story, it is claimed that the Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez pair has been engaged for quite some time. The alleged insider even claimed that the pop star had already shown off the engagement ring during the World Series where the singer was indeed spotted wearing such an accessory.
However, there are a few details about this particular Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez story that makes no sense. For example, if the source was genuine in actually providing real details about the engagement, there would be some timeline as to when the marriage was going to happen. It’s also worth pointing out that living together simply does not automatically mean that the couple is in a “trial marriage.”
While it is true that the Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez pair has been making real estate decisions as a couple, as PEOPLE reports, this does not mean that they are already engaged. It’s perfectly possible for them to simply be testing the waters before diving headfirst into matrimony.
