It has been said that in order to sell a lie effectively, there must be some grains of truth sprinkled in. In the case of the new Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck gossip, it’s true that the “Argo” actor was getting treatment for his alcoholism. However, this did not result in the romantic spark between the couple getting rekindled.
As PEOPLE reports, the Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck issue is quite complicated, but their love for their children remains constant. This is why the “Alias” star is willing to drive her former husband to a rehab center where he could get the treatment that he needs. This reportedly came after it was found out that the star of “Batman V Superman” had been drinking again.
An inside source also told the publication that doing so had taken its toll on the actress. After all, the Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck situation is harrowing enough without throwing an intervention into the mix. Unfortunately, this is exactly what is happening. At least the actor went willingly instead of resisting and it seems the children are aware of what is happening.
“[T]here are no secrets, and Jen is great at explaining what’s going on in age-appropriate ways. She tells them Ben is sick and needs doctors. What she ultimately cares about is his sobriety and whether she can rely on him to co-parent. She is trying to keep the father of her children alive,” the source said.
On that note, this development resulted in a new Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck gossip, which claims that the two are back together. Gossip Cop quickly stepped in to quash this particular tabloid fair, saying that the two are not getting romantically reunited. The actress is simply doing what she can to make sure that the father of her children will actually be capable of taking care of them.
