“Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3 is up next after an exciting premiere and second episode. This is the last run of the series so every story is anticipated.
Previously in “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 2, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) started to process and face the reality that her husband Michael (Brett Dier) is alive. Now, this complicates things because everyone already knows that after assuming that her husband is never coming back, she opened up her heart again and fell in love with Rafael (Justin Baldoni).
As posted on Broadway World, “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3 is simply called “Chapter Eighty-Four” and its plot summary reads: “Jane must get over the newest hurdle in her life, which proves to be harder than she and Rafael would have hoped. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) discovers that he and River (guest star Brooke Shields) are not as equal as he thought.
Also, “Jane and Petra (Yael Grobglas) must deal with the children not getting along with each other, which in turn brings up issues of how Petra and Jane feel about each other.”
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3 is featuring few guest stars led by Brooke Shields as River. The others include Andrea Navedo and Ivonne Coll. This episode is directed by Brad Silberling and written by Valentina L. Garza and Deidre Shaw.
Jane will have a hard time in “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3 because she needs to divorce Michael and this makes her feel guilty because they are still married and got separated in an unusual way. Rafael is also worried because Jane’s feelings for her husband might have returned and does not love him anymore.
What’s more, in the promo video for “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3, Michael was shown expressing his wish to get back with Jane and make their marriage work again. But Jane consulted her lawyer and was told that since they are still legally married, she needs to divorce him.
Although hesitant to do it because she is a Catholic, she decided to have a divorce for Rafael. However, it appears that Michael has no intention of breaking up with her so he is doing whatever to avoid signing the divorce papers. In fact, in “Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3, he told Jane he wants to court her again.
Meanwhile, fans are convinced that Michael, who is also known as Jason now, is only faking his amnesia. Cosmopolitan has learned that some viewers of the show are saying that Michael is only pretending because he wants to get back with Jane but his real intention for this is vague. Perhaps, he came back for a not-so-good reason?
“Jane the Virgin” season 5 episode 3 is airing on April 10 at 9 p.m. on The CW. For viewers in the U.K., it will be on Netflix on April 11. Check out the trailer below:
