Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson may have completed the “Fifty Shades” trilogy but the hype on their movie is not yet over. In fact, the film continues to give the co-stars recognitions around the world and recently, there was even an odd award.
According to Express, Jamie Dornan won an award for his steamy scenes with Dakota Johnson in the “Fifty Shades” movies. The award was not common though since it was specifically focused on the actor’s sensual moments with Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele character.
As reported, Jamie Dornan was recognized in the recently concluded MANatomy Awards, an event that was famously called the “naked Oscars” because it honors actors with the best bodies and nude scenes in films and television. Dakota Johnson may have gotten an award too but the event is exclusively for men only.
Jamie Dornan who played Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades” won an award in the “Best Butt” category since he exposed his backside in some of his sex scenes with Dakota Johnson. The MANatomy awards is now in its third year and other winners include Milo Ventimiglia, Best Nudity on TV for “This Is Us” and Kit Harrington for “Game of Thrones.”
Meanwhile, Jamie Dornan is in the running for the James Bond role. He is being considered as the next 007 Agent but the actor said that he has not really given it a thought.
In his interview with Belfast Telegraph, Jamie Dornan said, “It’s just something I’ve given zero thought to. I’ll sometimes have my mates text me saying they’ve put a bet on me and telling me what my odds are and I think it’s kind of hilarious.”
But it seems that the authors of the Bond films think that Dakota Johnson’s “Fifty Shades” co-star may fit the character. “Jamie Dornan has been linked with the role as the next Bond before and his return to our screens is catapulting him towards the top of our betting once more.”
Their spokesman added, “The world of 007 is a little different to that of the countryside of Ireland where Death and Nightingales are set but we can certainly picture him stepping into Craig’s shoes and have slashed the odds.”
