Italian industrial production rises sequentially in August

Italian industrial production rose in the month of August. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the industrial production index rose 0.3 percent sequentially in the month, showed ISTAT. The change of the average of the last three months with respect to the previous three months was -0.3 percent.

On a year-on-year basis, the calendar adjusted industrial production index dropped 1.8 percent. The unadjusted industrial production index dropped 4.8 percent year-on-year.
