- New Zealand - ANZ business confidence rose to -18.9 in September from 29.1 prior. ANZ activity outlook rose to 16.7% from 12.2%. M3 money supply rose at 9% for 12 months to August.
- Australia - Building permits dropped sharply by -6.9% in August from July, still up 5.1% from a year ago. Private sector credit grew 6.3% in August in last 12 months.
- Japan - Vehicle production down by -4.7% in last 12 months to August.

- Germany - German retail sales for August to be released at 6:00 GMT. Unemployment details for September will be released at 7:55 GMT.

- Switzerland - UBS consumption indicator for August to be released at 6:00 GMT, followed by KOF leading indicator at 7:00 GMT.
- France - producer prices for August to be released at 6:45 GMT, along with consumer spending.
- Spain - Current account balance for July to be released at 7:00 GMT.
- Italy - Unemployment for July is scheduled for release at 8:00 GMT, followed by Consumer price index at 9:00 GMT and producer price index at 10:00 GMT.
- Greece - Producer price index for August and retail sales for July will be released at 9:00 GMT.
- Euro Zone - Unemployment rate for August and preliminary reading on consumer price index for September to be released at 9:00 GMT.
- US - MBA mortgage applications to be released at 11:00 GMT. ADP employment report to be released at 12:15 GMT, followed by Chicago PMI at 13:45 GMT. FED's William Dudley is scheduled to speak at 12:00 GMT and Yellen at 19:00 GMT. EIA will announce crude oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
- Canada - Monthly GDP to be released at 12:30 GMT for July.
- Australia - AIG performance of manufacturing index scheduled for 23:30 GMT.
- Japan - Finance ministry will release weekly investment statistics into Japanese assets. Tankan industry report to be released at 23:50 GMT.
